Born in Ukraine and currently based in London, Oksana Sliubyk graduated with distinction from the Lviv National Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She continues her studies under the guidance of Kathryn Harries (UK).
In 2013 Oksana was awarded a bursary by the University of Ottawa and was accepted to study at one of the world’s leading schools, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She is a two-time winner of an International Opera Awards Foundation’s bursary and a scholarship granted by the Guildhall School. Oksana performed at the International Opera Awards gala ceremony in London in 2015 and was featured in the Opera Now Magazine on two occasions. Since 2016, she performed with I Virtuosi Ambulanti in Germany, Northern Ireland Opera in the UK, has participated in many prestigious international festivals and young artist programs such as Prelude to Performance and Miami Music Festival in the US, Casalmaggiore International Music Festival and Livorno Music Festival in Italy, attended various master classes studying with Jake Heggie, Petra Lang, Graham Johnson, Stuart Skelton, Martin Katz, Edith Wiens, Benjamin Luxon and many more. She has also made her TV debut with an opera diva cameo appearance in a popular British TV series. In 2017 Oksana was granted an Exceptional Talent status in the United Kingdom and she resides in London.
